Zoom Integration

ShowRate is a scheduling and sales-operations platform. The Zoom integration automatically creates a Zoom meeting for every appointment booked through your ShowRate booking pages, keeps it in sync when the appointment is rescheduled, and removes it when the appointment is cancelled.

What the integration does

  • Creates a meeting per booking:when a lead books an appointment on a calendar whose location is set to Zoom, ShowRate creates a scheduled Zoom meeting in the host's account. The join link is included in the confirmation e‑mail, the calendar invite (ICS) and the CRM record.
  • Keeps meetings in sync: rescheduling a booking updates the meeting time; cancelling a booking deletes the meeting.
  • Attendance detection (optional):after a meeting has ended, ShowRate checks whether the invited guest joined, so your team sees reliable show/no‑show rates.

Adding the integration

  1. Sign in to your ShowRate workspace at app.showrate.app.
  2. Go to Einstellungen → Integrationen (Settings → Integrations) and click „Zoom verbinden“ (Connect Zoom).
  3. Sign in with your Zoom account and approve the requested permissions. You are redirected back to ShowRate — the connection is now active.
  4. On any calendar, choose Zoom as the meeting location. From now on every booking on that calendar gets its own Zoom meeting.

Each host connects their own Zoom account, so meetings are always created on behalf of the person who runs the appointment.

Removing the integration

You can disconnect at any time, from either side:

  • In ShowRate under Einstellungen → Integrationen, click disconnect next to Zoom, or
  • In the Zoom App Marketplace under Manage → Added Apps, remove ShowRate.

When you remove the app, ShowRate deletes the stored Zoom credentials (access and refresh tokens, Zoom user ID and account e‑mail) within 10 days. Already-booked appointments and their meeting links remain untouched in your Zoom account.

Data usage

ShowRate stores only what is needed to operate the integration: the OAuth tokens, your Zoom user ID and account e‑mail, and the meeting ID and join link of meetings it created. ShowRate does not read your recordings, chats or other meetings. Details: privacy policy · terms of service.

Troubleshooting & support

  • No meeting link on a booking:check that the calendar's location is set to Zoom and that the assigned host has connected their Zoom account.
  • Connection expired:reconnect via Einstellungen → Integrationen — existing bookings are not affected.
